2010 Back to Basics: A Commonsense Approach

Australian Winter School Conference

This year's conference will be held from 21 - 23 June, at the Sebel Citigate King George Square Hotel, in Brisbane.

At present the Australian Winter School Committee is in the process of formulating a new program for the 2010 Conference. Following up from comments from delegates at the 2009 Conference it has been decided to run workshops on the afternoons of each day. This will give delegates more flexibility in choosing which sessions to attend.

Information on the plenary presenters are now available on the web site.

The conference will be followed by a one day workshop held on Thursday 24 June. The workshop will be run by Dr Robert Purssey, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of Queensland, who is also presenting a plenary paper on ACT and Mindfulness at the conference. Numbers for the workshop are limited and delegates can register for the workshop using the Registration Form below.

Plenary Sessions
2010 Conference Program

The Organising Committee has formulated a draft program and is at present in the process of sourcing plenary presenters. As soon as these are in place a draft program will be posted onto the web site.

It is envisaged that 'Expression of Interest' will be sought from interested parties to present electives or workshops based on the conference theme.

Please note that presenters must supply their presentations before the conference so that they can be loaded and tested to ensure no problems arise on the day of presentation.
